Since you need to get a CHICKI for a lot of quests in the game (also for PvP) and the easiest way to get one is through the quest chain here in The Great Land, i'll explain the process.

Everything starts with the quest Enter the Hidden Lair.

When the quest is completed, a new encounter appears:

QUEST: CLEARING THE PATH

For this quest i will use WEREWOLF, since he has a high chance of winning. but it can also be done with the PUMP-COS-VAMP i'm using next (although the success rate is much lower).

Now we have to open the chest we find.

This quest will unlock the key quest of this chain.

QUEST: BIG (?) BIRD!

 
The drop rate of the CHICKI is not high, so you will probably have to repeat the whole chain to actually get the spirit. (I had to repeat the quest chain 8 times while testing this to get the spirit of CHICKI (PINK))

I'm using PUMP-COS-VAMP because he's the best dark spirit i had for this, but any spirit with dark magical attacks should work (wind spirits are weak to dark attacks).

If you have activated in Basalon Town the quest "Report of dark datter collection (3)". You will face here and in Sky Tower a dark spirit level 40 several times. (SHADOWIMP)

QUEST: EXPELLING GUARDING SPIRIT

He's easy to defeat with a BULBHEAD, this are the stats:

Sometimes this BULBHEAD setup doesn't work, so i'm adding another one for REINDEER which works quite better.
